(Open Pollinated) 73 days. This is a bicolor, heirloom sweet corn which is open-pollinated (reproduces true to type from seeds year after year). This variety is early maturing and has excellent germination and pollination. It produces nice-sized ears, avg. 7", with 12-14 rows of yellow and white kernels. The side shoot suckers will produce slightly smaller ears. It's almost like it produces "double" than the standard corn varieties. Expect twice as many ears per stalk compared to "regular" sweet corn, averaging 6-8 -- but we've had more! The taste of this corn is very similar in sweetness to most hybrid corns. If desired, you can have all white corn by planting only the white kernels.
Oregon Tilth has tested our corn seed for traces of GMO and all the tests have come back with no residues detected.
This seed was grown on our certified organic farm in Dufur, OR.
