Azure Husbandry Miss Jekyll Love-in-a-Mist Seed, Organic

Named after Gertrude Jekyll, who was a British horticulturist that designed over 400 picturesque gardens in the UK, Europe, and America.  She also bred many plants, including this breath-taking Love-in-a-Mist! The foliage is like misty filigree, and the star-like blooms are set in smoky gems of mellow tones of rose, sky blue, dark blue, and crystalline white.  Drought tolerant, easy-to-grow, and frost hardy.  The gorgeous blooms develop into unique seedpods popular for use in dried bouquets.  Open pollinated.

WHERE & WHEN TO PLANT:  For best results, plant seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost at about 1/8" deep.  Accustom plants to outside conditions by moving seedlings to a sheltered area for a week before planting in the garden.  Can be sown outdoors after all danger of frost has passed by just lightly covering the seed with soil.  Plants should be 12 inches apart.  Water thoroughly.

REMARKS:  Love-in-a-Mist like full sun and warm temperatures.  They can tolerate growing in poorer soils and with little moisture, though they grow more lush in fertile soil with adequate moisture.  Use for cut or dried flower and seedpods for dried bouquets.  One of the easier flowers to grow.
