Azure Husbandry Tendergreen Burpless Cucumber Seed, Organic

This heirloom cucumber produces 6-8" long, thin fruit that is smooth-skinned, tender, crisp, and very sweet - just like the name suggests!  A beautiful, dark green cucumber for fresh market, eating, and even pickling.  Excellent keeper and bitter-free!  Open pollinated.

WHERE & WHEN TO PLANT:  For earlier harvest, plant seeds indoors in flats or pots and transplant after danger of frost has passed; otherwise, plant seeds directly outside after danger of frost.  We prefer to plant the seeds in rows, spacing the seeds approx. 12-18” apart and a 1/2” deep.  Seeds can be planted in hills that are 3-4 ft. apart, placing 3 or 4 seeds in each hill.

REMARKS:  Well-rotted manure/compost mixed into each row or hill prior to planting will stimulate growth and increase yield considerably.  Evenly water throughout the summer.  Harvest small cucumbers for pickles or leave on the vine longer for slicing cucumbers.      This is a burpless, bitter-free variety!
