This heirloom variety is a multi-purpose cucumber used small for pickles or left to grow for a short slicing cucumber.  It is an early-producing cucumber used for pickles or fresh-eating since it is completely bitter-free and burpless.  The fruits get approx. 4-5” long and 1-1 ½ “ in diameter.  They are so tasty to eat fresh and make such nice pickles that it is the only variety our family raises now (aside from lemon cucumbers). 

This cucumber seed was grown by Azure Husbandry here on the farm in Dufur, Oregon.
