From A to Z, our organic alphabet soup is healthy, delicious, and easy to prepare! We’ve carefully selected a hearty blend of lentils, split green and yellow peas, barley, and brown rice; then paired it with organic alphabet pasta and topped it off with a blend of flavorful spices. Our pasta is colored with beet, spinach, and carrot for an extra burst of colorful fun! 

As good as this soup is on its own, feel free to spice it up! Add diced tomatoes or cook it with carrots, celery, swiss chard, kale, or beets for an additional nutritional boost.

Please note for 25 lb package: 1 lb alphabet soup pasta/seasoning mix sold separately for 25 lb size. (See QS026.) About 8 pounds of seasoning is required to season 25 lbs of dry beans. 1 cup of alphabet soup seasoning will season 2 ½ cups (1 lb) of dry beans.

Ingredients

organic lentils, organic split green peas, organic split yellow peas, organic barley, organic long grain brown rice. Spice pk: pasta (organic golden amber durum semolina, organic beet, organic spinach, organic carrot), organic onion, organic carrot, RealSalt, organic spices, organic garlic, organic onion. (CONTAINS WHEAT) *Spice pack sold separately for the 25 lb size.

Directions

For 16.8 & 29.3 oz pk: Sort and wash beans. Soak overnight. Drain and add bean blend to 6 (for 16.8 oz pk) or 10 (for 29.3 oz pk) cups water. Bring to a gentle boil for 30 min. Add seasoning and vegetable/pasta packets and two 14.5 oz (for 16.8 oz pk) or two 28 oz (for 29.3 oz pk) cans organic diced tomatoes. Cook an additional 20–30 minutes. Serves 6 (16.8oz pk) or 14 (29.3oz pk).
