Azure Market Organics pink beans are a perfect addition to chili, refried beans, or any Mexican-style dish! They’re a bit smaller than pinto beans and a uniform pale pinkish-brown instead of streaked, but you can substitute one for the other in nearly any recipe. They can also sub in for kidney beans or red beans. They have a meaty, almost powdery texture and a slightly sweet flavor.
Like most beans, pink beans are filling, tasty, and nutrient-dense. They're high in protein and a good source of potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and calcium, so you know you’re getting plenty of goodness anytime you add our pink beans to a meal!

Bring 10 cups water to a boil, add 2 cups beans, and boil for 2–3 min. Remove from heat, cover, and set aside for 1–4 hours. Drain and add to a large sauce pan. Add water until it covers beans by 1 inch. Boil for 10 min and simmer until tender (about 1–2 hours). Add seasonings such as garlic, onion, oregano, parsley, or thyme while cooking, if desired.
