With its bright golden color, they can be seen from a distance against the backdrop of autumn color. Chanterelle mushrooms are also known as Golden Chanterelle or Egg Mushroom. These mushrooms are harvested from their natural environment in the forests of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Soak in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse and strain, then pat with a paper towel and use them as fresh.

The soak water has tons of flavors in it we recommend using it in your cooking but be careful not to use any sediment, grit that sinks to the bottom.
